The 2014 Seattle Seahawks: Five (Bold?) predictions

The Seattle Seahawks will be a better overall team than they were last year!

Yes, I said it!

Given the vast improvement that I expect to see from their passing game, I think they will not only be more balanced offensively, but also more balanced as a team.

Though they will continue to rely heavily on their running game and defense to control the ball, I think they will spread the field a lot more and, as a result, score more points.

However, I don’t think they will necessarily have a better record than last year.

The strength of their division and, accordingly, their schedule coupled with the huge target they have on their backs due to winning the Super Bowl will simply make it too difficult to achieve another 13-3 record.
