‘Town business is back in the building!: Marshawn Lynch reports to camp

As you 12s have already heard here on 12th Man Rising, Marshawn Lynch ended his holdout and reported to camp on Thursday!

More from Seattle Seahawks News

Though the Seattle Seahawks have repeatedly denied their being too concerned about his absence, while citing their “next man up” philosophy, they have to be extremely relieved.

Not to say that the reports out of camp around the performances by Robert Turbin and Christine Michael haven’t been positive, as they have actually been very positive, but the team is obviously better served working them in alongside the workhorse, Lynch.

Not to mention, the impact Lynch has on the game is immeasurable. Given his ability to run through would-be tacklers, it takes an army to bring him down. That being the case, opponents have to load the box, which lends more efficiency to the passing game in the way of play-action effectiveness and one on one coverage.

Apparently, he reported without a new contract. Better yet, he reported because he missed being part of the program and missed being with his teammates.

If he is, in fact, happy to be back, we can look forward to his being ‘all ’bout that action’ once again this season. Accordingly, we can likely expect further 12th Man generated earthquakes and Skittles falling from the sky as Beast Mode rumbles, stumbles, and wills his way down the field for more than a 1,000 yards and somewhere around 10 TDs this year.

Welcome back Marshawn!! We love ya, boss! Go out there and help bring us another trophy!

GO HAWKS!
