Chargers at Seahawks: Preseason TV Schedule, Radio, Live Stream: Where To Watch
By Josh Davis
The Seattle Seahawks will look to start another preseason win streak tonight when they host the San Diego Chargers at Century link field in Seattle.
The game marks the first time in nearly three full seasons in which the Hawks will play after a preseason loss, but of course that’s not as important as how much they grow tonight individually and as a team. The Chargers are coming off of an absolute thrashing of the Dallas Cowboys at home, but we all know what happens to other teams at C-Link (even in the preseason) is usually quite a bit different than their recent success would indicate, we shall see tonight.
Generally, Russell Wilson and the starters might play longer in the second game of the preseason than they did in week 1, but there might be some battles that really force Pete Carroll to not play some of those starters as much tonight. One such battle is at quarterback, another is at receiver and there are some real defensive wars for spots going on.
For San Diego a couple of rookie free agents stepped up big last week and gave the coaches a bunch to think about, so it will be interesting to see how they handle getting the backups in this week as well. I’d probably expect a traditional half out of most of the SD starters though. For more coverage on the Chargers, you can head over to Bolt Beat.
This game marks a mini-preview of what we will see in week 2 of the regular season, when the Seahawks will fly to Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Just as was the case last week, this game doesn’t count but both teams would like to make a statement nonetheless. The game will be televised on NFL Networks tonight.
