Three rookie quarterbacks and one second-year quarterback entered the spotlight: Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson, Colin Kaepernick, and Robert Griffin III, and took the NFL by storm. All four were in the 2012 postseason, and Kaepernick actually led his team to the Super Bowl before losing to the Ravens.
RG3 took offensive Rookie of the Year from Wilson and Luck in 2012, and was viewed as the future face of the league.
But things have changed.
RG3 tore the ACL he didn’t tear in college and regressed. Kaepernick and the 49ers found their kryptonite in 2013: the Seattle Seahawks. Andrew Luck has led the Colts to two consecutive 11-5 seasons.
Oh, and a small fact: Russell Wilson has a Super Bowl ring.
But does Russell Wilson’s Super Bowl ring give him the top spot in the rankings of the quarterbacks from the 2012 draft class?
