2013 Statistics (13 games): 2,891 passing yards, 64 CMP %, 27 TDs, 2 INTs, 69 QBR

College football, specifically Pac-12 football, is my favorite sport on the face of the planet. Being a USC football fan, I was able to see Nick Foles every year.

I thought he was a pretty good quarterback at the University of Arizona (he threw for 4,334 yards and 28 TDs his senior year) and hoped the 6-foot-6 QB would get a chance in the NFL.

He got his chance last year, and boy, did he make the most of it.

Foles was a fantasy football superstar for the second half of the season, and also led the Eagles to the playoffs. He tied the record for touchdown passes in a game with seven (although it was against the Raiders) and looked like a good fit for Chip Kelly’s offense.

But Foles has looked a little shaky in the preseason, and still has to prove that last season wasn’t a fluke. If he has a similar season this year, he could jump over the next QB in the rankings…
