It’s being talked about all over the inter-webs — why are the Seahawks going with seven receivers? The more I look at the seven players, the more I think I understand.

Each of those players (minus Norwood who has been injured) have proven that they can bring a unique talent at the wideout position and with it being very possible that Harvin gets hurt this year, the Seahawks now have the depth to replace him.

Richardson is also injury-prone and, again, Norwood is still hurt, so the Seahawks have already prepared to stack their wideout positions regardless of injury.

Walters was a little bit of a surprise to get cut, but it seems the Seahawks felt Lockette or Bates outplayed him.
