The offensive line was the Seahawks weak point last season, but it looks like this year’s line will be an improvement.

One of the big surprises from Saturday was that the Seahawks elected to terminate the contract of veteran Eric Winson, which means rookie Justin Britt will likely get the start at right tackle in the season opener. The job is basically Britt’s to lose.

With Okung and Carpenter health on the left side, Unger healthy in the middle and Britt and Sweezy ready to go on the right side, a more disciplined offensive line should open up some big lanes for Lynch and provide better protection for Wilson than they did last year.
