For the second consecutive week, the Seahawks will be facing a backup center anchoring down the opposing offensive line. Ohrnberger is coming in to replace Nick Hardwick who was injured in San Diego’s Week 1 game.

The Seahawks front line isn’t going to go easy on Ohrnberger and his presence may cause a few more pass rushes in the gameplan.

That being said, if Ohrnberger can’t hold his own, Rivers is going to get hit a lot in that backfield. However, if Ohrnberger can keep up with the Seahawks defensive line attack, it may open up passing opportunities for Rivers on short plays that could add up to significant yardage.

We will have to wait and see if Ohrnberger is up for the challenge.
