The most anticipated game in the first three weeks has to be the Super Bowl rematch of the Denver Broncos at the Seattle Seahawks, for obvious reasons.

A bit of the steam was taken off of this one when the Hawks went into San Diego and got beat down last week, but the NFL is a difficult league to navigate. All of the pressure will be on Denver as Seattle is so very good at home and really feeds off of the intensity of the 12s at Century Link.
For Denver, of course Peyton Manning is still tops in the NFL and saw plenty of chinks in the Seahawks’ armor from last weeks’ performance by San Diego. The problem will be to actually be able to use what he saw to his advantage. Last year, with two weeks to prepare, he wasn’t able to do it. A healthy Wes Welker will make his job easier but expect Seattle to send everything his way.
For Seattle, this matchup now has quite a bit more meaning than it did even a week ago, as the loss to San Diego means they have a very real shot of starting 1-2 before even playing a division game. While San Francisco lost last week, the Cardinals went to 2-0 to take momentary control and the Hawks need to get back on the winning side in a hurry (by the way the Cards and Niners play this week as well).
If Peyton thought the crowd noise was crazy at the Super Bowl, he’d better get ready to see what it can really be like in Seattle. The Hawks will be desperate and angry from the 12’s to Richard Sherman in this one. Should be a fun game for all.
The Seahawks are five point favorites at home in this one. So while not everyone thinks the Hawks will blow Denver out like they did in the Super Bowl, the “Seattle factor” is still worth a slight edge over the No. 1 ranked team in the NFL.
