3 Seattle Seahawks to Watch Against the Washington Redskins
By Paul Novak
#3 Kam Chancellor, Safety
Kam Chancellor played so poorly against the San Diego Chargers that Antonio Gates nearly single-handedly beat the Seattle Seahawks on his own with close to 100 yards receiving and three TD’s.
A lot of that had to do with an ankle injury that Chancellor was dealing with but nonetheless – the Seahawks can’t turn this into a shootout because Kirk Cousins and DeSean Jackson can light up a scoreboard.
The safety is counted on to intimidate opposing wideouts and fear crossing the middle of the field where a hammer of a hit is often just waiting to happen. It happened to the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl and we saw the effects it had on their passing game.
