When: 12 October 2014 @ CenturyLink Field, Seattle, WA

Standings: Dallas Cowboys 4-1 and tied for first in the NFC East with four straight victories after losing Week 1. Seattle Seahawks 3-1 and tied for first with the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC West.

If when you watch football you want to see the ball flying all over the field, you might not be too satisfied when you watch the Cowboys play the Seahawks later today. Marshawn Lynch and DeMarco Murray anchor the offenses of the top two rushing teams in the NFL. Despite the fact that the Seahawks have the best run defense, don’t expect the Cowboys to abandon the run game regardless of how ugly it may get.

Fun fact for you: In 4 1/2 years under Pete Carroll, the Seahawks have only allowed six 100-yard rushers at CenturyLink Field.

DeMarco Murray on the other hand has already ran for 100 or more yards in his first five games of 2014. Aside from Murray, only O.J. Simpson and Jim Brown can say they’ve accomplished that.

The battle of these two strengths will undoubtedly be the story of the game. Run stuffing safety Kam Chancellor is listed as probable with a hip injury and could factor either positively or negatively into this battle.
