Seahawks vs Rams Inactives: Christine Michael and Paul Richardson to Play

facebooktwitterreddit

Just an hour away from game time and the Seahawks and Rams have announced their inactives for their Week 7 matchup.

For the first time this season Seahawks running back Christine Michael will suit up for Seattle. Rookies Paul Richardson and Kevin Norwood will also be active as was expected after the Percy Harvin trade to the Jets on Friday.

More from Seattle Seahawks News

Yesterday we posted a piece detailing which Seahawks should benefit the most from Harvin leaving Seattle and Richardson was mentioned. Reports have come out that Harvin had had issues with numerous players on the team since before the Super Bowl.

With Seattle using their first pick in the 2014 draft on a player with many similar skills as Harvin, you could assume they knew Harvin’s time with Seattle was running short and chose to be proactive in finding a replacement.

I love that whoever updates these things on NFL.com has a sense of humor and knows how to BeastMode up Marshawn Lynch’s comments.

CB Tharold Simon will be making his first appearance for the Seahawks today as well. Basically, half the sideline will be guys that have never played in an NFL game. No, not really, but it feels like it.

Out for the contest are Bobby Wagner, Byron Maxwell, Jordan Hill, Max Unger, Andrew McDonald, Zach Miller, and Luke Willson.

With Miller and Willson out, it’ll be up to Cooper Helfet and newly signed Rashaun Allen to handle all TE duties today. Helfet has appeared in 3 games for the Seahawks and has 2 receptions for 43 yards. Allen is a rookie and has yet to appear in an NFL game.
