1. The Seahawks defense isn’t what it was last year

It might be the Super Bowl hangover or it might be that the Seahawks lost some key members of their defense from last year’s squad. Chris Clemons and Red Bryant moved on to Jacksonville due to salary cap reasons from the Percy Harvin deal and the Seahawks haven’t been able to generate the same pass rush without them.

The Legion of Boom hasn’t instilled the same fear into their opponents and overall the defense is allowing almost 10 more points per game, 23.6 ppg in 2014 compared to 14.4 last year.

When you watch them on film, the entire defense just looks lackadaisical and uninterested.
