3. Penalties are absolutely killing any momentum the Seahawks get

Seattle averages 8.5 penalties per game after their first six games. What’s worse is that the flags are being thrown at the worst possible times, continually bringing back TD”s and moving the team out of scoring position.

Seahawks had 10 penalties for 89 yards, Rams had 2 penalties for 20 yards

The Seahawks were the most penalized team last season with 128 flags thrown in 16 games. That’s an average of 8 per game. So the Seahawks are actually becoming less disciplined.

Offensive holding and offsides are the two most common calls against Seattle. The banged up offensive line is mostly to blame with Russell Okung leading the team with seven penalties against. Zach Miller, Justin Britt and James Carpenter are second, each having been flagged three times.
