Prediction: Philadelphia beats Arizona
Why: I have been high on the Cardinals since the start of the season. I won’t be shocked if they hand the Eagles just their second loss, but I have a gut feeling that the Eagles win this one. The Cardinals will bounce back and learn from a second loss to a Top 5 team in our Power Rankings.
Prediction: Kansas City beats St. Louis
Why: Usually there is one game in the week that I pick differently than everyone on our panel. Not this week. I’ll go with everyone else and say that regardless of the Rams beating the Seahawks last week, they won’t be able to do it two weeks in a row against a great Chiefs team.
Next: Some Seahawks say Russell Wilson Not Black Enough
Mitch Quesada
Prediction: Houston beats Tennessee
Why: Both teams are playing poorly right now but the Texans are getting Jadeveon Clowney back in the starting lineup for the first time since Week 1 while the Titans are starting Zach Mettenberger at QB. Advantage? Houston’s defense.
Prediction: Cincinnati beats Baltimore
Why: In a battle of two of the two top teams in the AFC North, the Bengals could make a huge statement by upsetting the division leader. They will do just that using a tough defense to shut down Joe Flacco‘s Ravens.
Prediction: Philadelphia beats Arizona
Why: The Cardinals haven’t proven they are the real deal just yet and beating a high-paced offense like the Eagles would be a signature win this year. But the Eagles are dangerously fast and athletic and rested coming off the bye week so I like them winning on the road.
Colin Floyd
Prediction: San Diego beats Denver
Why: These are two of the five best teams in the NFL. I think the Chargers will bounce back from the loss to the Chiefs and upset the Broncos.
Prediction: Baltimore beats Cincinnati
Why: The Ravens are one of the hotter teams right now, Joe Flacco is playing well, so is Justin Forsett. The Ravens are coming of a blowout win, the Bengals are coming off a blowout loss.
Thomas Oide
Prediction: San Diego beats Denver
Why: I don’t love Philip Rivers but I love this San Diego Charger team. Branden Oliver can flat out ball and this defense is better than people give it credit for.
Prediction: Tennessee beats Houston
Why: If Zach Mettenberger indeed starts this game, Tennessee is winning. Strong arm, pretty smart, and great poise is what the Titans are getting from the former LSU QB.
