Wide Receivers / Tight Ends
Seattle’s tight ends only accounted for two receptions the entire game but there was none bigger than Luke Willson’s game-winning catch with under a minute remaining in the fourth quarter. Willson had missed the previous two games and would have had another TD catch earlier in the game. Russell Wilson had his tight end wide open but threw awkwardly and shorted a pass for Willson that would have been an easy TD.
With all the focus on the receivers the past few games we can have a little comfort with Doug Baldwin‘s play the past two games. Baldwin caught six passes for 61 yards and showed that the Seahawks have some consistency in their passing attack. For the second week Baldwin led Seattle in receptions and yards while Russell Wilson completed passes to nine different receivers.
