In his last two games against the Seahawks Eli Manning has thrown eight interceptions!
Seattle has been starved for turnovers compared to last season and today’s matchup against Manning could start a trend of turning that around. Richard Sherman was able to get his first INT of the season last week and I’m sure he’ll have more opportunities to make plays with the Seahawks run defense being as dominating as they are.
PFF has Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin ranked as the 6th best 4-3 OLB in the NFL with a +8.7 grade. Look for him to provide some much needed QB pressure and help generate some turnovers.
All that being said, Manning hasn’t thrown an INT in his last four games and has just one in the previous six. Of the six teams he’s faced, none have the caliber defense that Seattle puts on the field.
