Seahawks’ Ricardo Lockette Ejected After Throwing Punch (GIF)

Seahawks WR and special teams gunner Ricardo Lockette was ejected from Seattle’s Week 11 game against the Kansas City Chiefs for throwing a closed fist punch at Kurt Coleman, a Chiefs special teams defender.
After a long return by the Chiefs ended out-of-bounds, Lockette was shoved back to the ground after the play and didn’t take to kindly to it. Although it was later reviewed and the return was brought back a substantial amount, Lockette remained ejected and the penalty cost the Seahawks 15-yards in field possession. KC later fumbled on the drive and Seattle took advantage by turning the turnover into a TD-scoring drive.
Marshawn Lynch rushed for 124 yards on 24 carries but was held without a TD by a Chiefs defense that has yet to allow one this season.
KC running back Jamaal Charles carried the offense with 159 yards on just 20 carries – good for an average of 8-yards-per-carry.
The Seahawks fall to 6-4 with the 24-20 loss and will now turn their attention to their NFC West rival Arizona Cardinals. Seattle had their three-game winning streak snapped and the Chiefs have now won their last five.
The Cardinals hold a 2.5 game lead in the NFC West before their game against the Detroit Lions this afternoon.
