Marshawn Lynch Appeals NFL’s $100,000 Fine

The NFL is trying to take a beastly amount of money out of Seahawks’ running back Marshawn Lynch‘s wallet. Beast Mode is apparently taking offense to the fine and is appealing the decision because, well, 100K would buy a whole lot of Skittles.

After last Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs at Arrowhead, Marshawn Lynch left the visitors locker room without speaking to reporters. Lynch did however speak with NFL reporters Mike Florio and Michael Robinson, who is an ex-teammate, once the running back boarded the team bus.
The NFL didn’t think that the move sufficed and decided to fine Lynch $50,000 for the violation as well as reinstitute a $50,000 fine from last years Super Bowl when Lynch again failed to meet the leagues standards of speaking to local and national media. The penalty from the Super Bowl was pending, and would have remained as such had Lynch continued to meet the media policy that was agreed to in the NFL’s collective bargaining agreement.
Lynch was heavily sought after by the press after remaining on the sidelines at halftime while all the other Seahawks players went to the locker room. Cameras showed Lynch laying on a table while someone from Seattle’s medical staff worked on what looked like Lynch’s lower back.
