The game, which features two 7-4 teams, could determine which of the two teams has the best shot to keep pace with the 9-2 Arizona Cardinals in the West.
The loser could see their season come to an inevitable end at the hands of their rival.
Seattle has been the better team as of late, winners of three of their last four including a defensive domination of the Cardinals last week.
The 49ers have won three straight but have struggled to win those games.
Seattle hasn’t beat the 49ers in their house since Russell Wilson became the team’s starting quarterback, but there is a lot more on the line tonight.
