Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner was one of five Seahawks selected to the 2015 NFL Pro Bowl, the NFL Network announced on Tuesday.

Wagner joined SS Kam Chancellor, RB Marshawn Lynch, CB Richard Sherman and FS Earl Thomas as 2015 selections.

This is the Wagner’s first Pro Bowl selection.

Seahawks.com noted “Thomas and Lynch were selected for the fourth consecutive year, Chancellor for the third time in a row and Sherman for the second consecutive season.”

Though he missed five games this year, Wagner has 94 tackles this season, second to only K.J. Wright on the Seahawks.

Thomas, Chancellor, and Sherman are third, fourth and fifth on the team in tackles, respectively.

Lynch is the only offensive Pro Bowl representative on the Seahawks.

He is tied for the league lead with 12 touchdowns and third in the league with 1,246 rushing yards.

The Seahawks also have five Pro Bowl alternates, who would go to the Pro Bowl as understudies, if the selected member of the Pro Bowl squad cannot attend.

They are DE Michael Bennett, K Steven Hauschka, OT Russell Okung, C Max Unger and QB Russell Wilson.

This is the first year Wilson was not selected to the Pro Bowl as a front runner.

He has probably been the team’s MVP, but his stats are not nearly comparable to Tom Brady, Andrew Luck, Peyton Manning, Ben Roethlisberger, Aaron Rodgers and Tony Romo, this season’s Pro Bowl quarterbacks.

Hauschka has made 29 field goals this season, fifth in the league. He is 29-for-35, after going 0-for-3 on Sunday night against the Cardinals, an unusually inaccurate night that may have cost him a Pro Bowl selection.

The 2015 NFL Pro Bowl will be played at University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz., on Jan. 25, which is one week before Super Bowl XLIX .
