This is a project pick, but boy, could this project pay off for the Seahawks.
Ogbuehi was projected as a top-1o pick back in August, but a midseason slump for the Aggies in which he allowed four sacks in three weeks dropped his draft stock by a significant amount.
But sacks are nothing new in Seattle and if drafted, Ogbuehi probably won’t even start in his rookie year. He stands 6 foot 5 and weighs 305 pounds and has supreme physical tools for an offensive lineman, specifically strength and speed.
Although the A&M senior plays offensive tackle, I see him as a perfect fit as a guard, especially in the Seahawks power running scheme. Imagine Ogbuehi as a pulling guard, demolishing a linebacker coming downhill trying to tackle a Seahawk running back in the backfield.
Sounds like a great fit to me.
