Stats: 23-36 246 yards, 2 TD, 2 INT, 37 rushing yards
Cam Newton performed admirably against the Legion of Boom. He managed to keep the game fairly close into the fourth quarter.
He made plays with his legs and with his arm.
But again, just like Flacco, Newton made all of his mistakes at exactly the wrong time:
I admire Newton’s ability to compete at such a high level with the Seahawks, especially considering Newton had barely any weapons to work with.
Newton has a bright future, but he still has a long way to go as a quarterback.
