The Seattle Seahawks have a great set announcers for their radio broadcasts. Steven Raible and Warren Moon are two of the best in the business. Their call of the final play between Seattle and the Green Bay Packers is pure awesomeness.
Below is their call, posted by the Seahawks on soundcloud. Have a listen; you won’t be disappointed.
The best part is the complete surprise and disbelief in both of their voices. They’re both excited, but there’s this element of “did that really just happen?” in there that makes it so amazing.

My favorite part though is when Moon just interrupts Raible mid call to screaming “Game over baby!” Raible continued on as if Moon never said anything, and the comment just hangs there as an unused exclamation point.
The overall exciting amazing. After listening to fairly awful TV announcers all season, Raible and Moon’s call for that moment was refreshingly genuine.
As I listen to this, I can picture 12s from all over jumping round in excitement. I can also picture Packers fans staring blankly in complete disbelief.
The Seahawks are headed to the Super Bowl. Don’t forget to enjoy the next couple of weeks before the big game.
