Only one quarterback in NFL history has ever thrown for 300 yards while also running for over 100 yards in the same game. Russell Wilson is that quarterback.
Seattle’s offense would not work without the third round pick in the 2012 NFL draft. The ability to scramble, elude defenders, and make broken plays turn into huge moments sets Wilson apart from most of the other starting quarterbacks in the NFL. It’s a huge reason why the Seahawks are playing in their second consecutive Super Bowl.
With Wilson’s competitive spirit as high as it is, Wilson will want to put his four interception performance against the Packers in the NFC championship game behind him. It was by far the worst overall performance of his brief career and he still managed to pull out one of the greatest comeback’s in playoff history.
