#1 Running Back Marshawn Lynch
How sweet would it be for Marshawn Lynch to be handed the Super Bowl MVP trophy by the very man who is responsible for fining the All-Pro running back hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Not only that, but when Lynch is asked; “You’ve just won the Super Bowl! What are you going to do next?!” And Lynch responds, “Ima go home and go to sleep right quick. Thanks for asking.” The internet will implode and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s head could very well explode simultaneously.
Beast Mode has rushed for over 1,200 yards in four consecutive seasons. Lynch also led the NFL in total touchdowns this season with 17 (4 rec). More so than any other season, Lynch was a threat in the passing game as well. With his four receiving TD’s Lynch also gained 367 yards through the air for a 9.9 ypc average.
Lynch could not only break the game open with his physical running style, but also his ability to gain large chunks of yards after short passes.
Good news for Seattle fans as regardless of the outcome of the game, reports have surfaced that the Seahawks and Lynch are in talks for a huge contract extension, likely making it the final contract of Lynch’s career.
