It is time to wrap up our position by position Seattle Seahawks roster analysis. The quarterback and running backs on this team are the strength of the offense, and that that isn’t likely to change for the 2015 season.
Russell Wilson makes evaluating this group really easy. There’s nothing more stabilizing for the long-term outlook of a roster than having a young franchise quarterback.

As stated above, Wilson makes this situation so much easier. Not having to worry about whether or not the team can find that “quarterback of the future” is amazing. The Seahawks need to get him a long-term extension in place, but that will get done soon.
B.J. Daniels might no longer belong on this list. He is still listed as a QB, but Schneider said earlier this week that Daniels is someone that the team is excited about at wide receiver for next year.
Either way, Daniels was never a realistic options as a full-time backup for Wilson. The Seahawks need to re-sign Jackson or find someone else who can come in and not be awful should Wilson get hurt.
The situation at running back depends greatly on Marshawn Lynch. If he retires, than Seattle could be in need of spending a top draft pick on the position. Turbin is a nice 3rd-down back, but he doesn’t break enough tackles or make people miss enough to be a full time player.
Christine Michael has all the physical skills to be “the guy” should Lynch retire, but he can’t even get on the field at this point. I have some information as to why, but that topic isn’t something to fit here. At this point, it is possible that he get chalked up as a “miss” for Schneider and the Seahawks are forced to go in another direction.
