2014 Stats (eight games): 30 tackles, 3 INTs, 7 PD
Peters may be one of the most polarizing prospects in this year’s draft class. The 6-0, 190 lb corner mirrors wide receiver prospect Dorial Green-Beckham: Top-10 talent, UDFA character.
Peters was dismissed from the University of Washington football team in week eight of the football season, missing the final five games of the season.
Reports have surfaced saying that Peters may still go top-10 or in the first round, but others say that Peters may drop to the middle or even the late second round due to his character concerns. The Seahawks have done wonders with talented guys who aren’t necessarily made of the highest character, and Peters would be a wonderful fit if Byron Maxwell decides to leave.
Even though Peters isn’t quite the tall, physical type, he possesses good speed and great instincts. Although his tackling occasionally leaves something to be desired, he is still a very talented cover the corner that the Seattle Seahawks could use.
