Updated Post-Trade Draft Needs for the Seattle Seahawks

Why it’s a need: This one is pretty obvious. Even before the Seahawks traded away Pro Bowl center Max Unger in the Jimmy Graham deal, the offensive line was a unit that needed some upgrades, not just depth additions.
Guard James Carpenter leaving in free agency to sign with the New York Jets made it that much more important to find a starter.
Right now the Seahawks would have Russell Okung, J.R. Sweazy and Justin Britt back as starters. Alvin Bailey would slide in where Carpenter played and it’s likely that Patrick Lewis would fill in at center with Unger gone.
That certainly wouldn’t be the worst o-line in the NFL, but it wouldn’t provide much protection for a quarterback that was sacked more than any other NFL QB besides one.
Importance: Absolute Must
