Updated Post-Trade Draft Needs for the Seattle Seahawks

Wide Receiver
Why it’s a need: We all love the guys that play wide receiver for the Seahawks. They’re a group of athletes that play with a chip on their shoulders because not many people believed they’d be good enough to excel on an NFL roster.
It’s one reason Doug Baldwin’s nickname is “Angry.” And we like Angry Doug Baldwin.
The unit has a homegrown kid, Jermaine Kearse, that played at the University of Washington and then was lucky enough to make it with his hometown team in the NFL. That’s every kids dream growing up.
What some of us refuse to admit, and some of us are very vocal about, is that none of the current receivers would be a number one option on any other NFL squad. Some would even go as far as claiming that they’d be lucky to be a quality number two.
What everyone can agree on is that with or without the addition of Graham, the unit needs another playmaker. We all miss Golden Tate now that we know exactly what he provided this offense. He’s exploded with the Detroit Lions and surely the Seahawks would love to have someone with his skills again.
John Schneider used Seattle’s top pick in last year’s draft on a wideout in Paul Richardson. Before getting hurt, Richardson showed flashes of becoming a solid contributor towards the end of the year. It’s not far-fetched to think that Seattle will take another receiver in the early part of the draft this year.
