The Best Tight Ends in Seattle Seahawks History
By Paul Novak
John Carlson (2008-2010)
Carlson could have easily surpassed his competition and been viewed as the greatest Seahawks tight end of all-time had he stayed with the team. Injuries resulted in the Seahawks front office letting him leave to join the Vikings and then Cardinals.
In the three years he spent with the team, Carlson hauled in 137 passes for 1,519 yards, good for third best. His 13 touchdowns in 47 games offer evidence that he would have become the all-time leader in touchdowns at the position had he played just a few more seasons with Seattle.
