Seattle Seahawks Draft: Potential 2nd Round Targets
By Dan Viens
"“Hunter is a freakish specimen who looks the part with his tall, long frame, but he also has the quick ignition out of his stance and light feet to make easy movements” – Dane Brugler, NFLDraftScout.com"
Danielle Hunter, DE, LSU: Long, lean, quick edge rusher who’s production on the field hasn’t matched his obvious physical gifts. The 6’5″, 252 lb Hunter could be exactly the type of athlete the Hawks feel they can develop into a monster pass-rusher.
Lynden Trail, DE, Norfolk State: This could be one of those instances where, if the Hawks like this player enough, they could be accused of reaching. But Trail’s 6’7″ frame and obvious athletic gifts may be too much to expect he would still be there when they select at the end of the 3rd round.

Nate Orchard, DE, Utah: He’s been mocked to Seattle a lot, but he would have to experience a significant slip to get to #63. He also has a nearly identical body and game to Bruce Irvin, so take that for what you will.
Xavier Cooper, DT, Washington State: Maybe I just wanted to get a Coug on this list, or maybe Cooper looks like a guy who can really penetrate from the DT position. A Clinton McDonald type who has a passion for the game and plays sideline-to-sideline. Looks like a Seattle fit.
