Seattle Seahawks Mock Draft: 7 Rounds
By Dan Viens
SUMMARY:
Checks a lot of boxes doesn’t it? We filled spots at C, G and possibly OT with potential starters. We got a game-breaking WR who can also return kicks and a huge red-zone target as well. We added two more D-lineman who can bolster the pass rush, a big, future starter type at CB and another guy who can play in nickel packages. Depth at TE and RB were filled with players who have enough upside to play larger roles in time.
There are players on this list who can start or contribute heavily as rookies. Any of the 6 players taken in rounds 5-7 would be extremely hard to cut, and would push the heck out of the players in front of them on the depth chart.
What’s missing? Linebackers. But each time I selected there were more intriguing players at other spots. The Seahawks have underrated depth there already, and I trust this staff to identify NFL caliber linebacking talent in UDFA.
Tune in next week when we do this again!
