Allow Me To Share Some Seattle Seahawks Thoughts
12th Man Rising writer, Dan Viens, wrote a terrific article regarding the story of ESPN employee, Britt McHenry. A story not likely to go away anytime soon.

There are many questions about ESPN’s response, McHenry’s true nature, as well as the coverage of the story itself. Unfortunately there is no question that the world of sports has far too much drama outside the competition.
I remember when the sports page was the break from a crazy world.
At least it’s not boring.
Dear Russell Wilson,
Playing baseball and football professionally would be an incredible experience. Guys like Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders and Brian Jordan were able to make it happen with varying degrees of success.
So it could work for you as well.
Or a 95-mph fastball could hit you in the eye and your ESPN career will start earlier than planned.
Maybe take the Seattle Seahawks to five more Super Bowls before your baseball dreams begin.
So glad we were able to come up with a plan that puts my desires as a Seahawks fan above your desires as an athlete.
I was watching a Mariners baseball game last week when Seattle decided to make a pitching change. I took that opportunity to go to the restroom, wash my hands, make a turkey and cheddar sandwich and get a soda. When I sat back down to watch the game I hadn’t missed even one pitch.
Baseball may want to try to speed things up a bit.
Jed York has turned the San Francisco 49ers into a train wreck. As a fan of the Seahawks and someone who looked forward to watching these teams go head to head, I’m quite frustrated.
It was a big mistake to spend so much on a quarterback who hasn’t shown much consistency. Colin Kaepernick’s contract hurts their ability to be big players in free agency.
Then, possibly by pressure of the players, he lets second best coach in the NFC go. The two best NFC coaches were in the same division, guaranteed to play twice a year. Pete Carroll vs Jim Harbaugh was great football. As we learned from Alex Boone, however, Harbaugh pushed too hard.
I actually feel terrible for 49ers fans.
Enjoy the next ten days. Schedules, with dates and networks, will be released Tuesday the 21st. The draft kicks off April 30th. The 2015 season gets real fans!
Go Hawks!
