QUARTERBACK:

  1. Russell Wilson
  2. B.J. Daniels

RUNNING BACK:

  1. Marshawn Lynch
  2. Robert Turbin
  3. Thomas Rawls (Rookie)
  4. Derrick Coleman (FB)
  5. Will Tufuaku (FB)

MY TAKE:

The Hawks still could sign Tarvaris Jackson to back up Wilson, but he may want to latch on somewhere with a better chance to play, and his veteran salary (1.25 million in 2014) offers an opportunity for the team to save some cap space.  But mostly, Daniels has an intriguing skill set not unlike Wilson, and if he has a good camp he could earn the backup job even if Jackson is re-signed to anything less than a fully guaranteed deal.

With the RB group, I see both Fullbacks making it because they’re both versatile, young, and outstanding contributors on special teams.  Undrafted rooked signee Rawls would be a surprise, but his tape is exciting, and Michael simply hasn’t lived up to expectations.  Look for the Hawks to try and deal him for a 2016 draft pick if they end up liking someone else better for his roster spot.
