Tom Brady’s Popularity Takes a Hit with Wells Report Findings
A Patriots’ employee named Jim McNally, will not be sad to see Tom Brady retire. In total that makes, what, 95% of NFL fans?

It’s a big day for those who don’t believe in the Brady hype. A bigger day for the Seahawks‘ Pete Carroll, as he’s not the NFL blockhead. I’d have to say, though, it seems the guy having the best day is attorney and independent investigator, Ted Wells. 100-days and the best he can say is, it’s “more than probable” Tom and two equipment guys cheated. For Wells it will surely be a large payout from the NFL for what should’ve been a more strongly worded conclusion.
I said he probably cheated after the AFC Title game. My fee would’ve been significantly less, Mr. Commissioner.
Although the soft wording in the long-awaited report deserves attention, Tom looking like a prima donna jerk is too great to pass up.
You can find the transcript online to form your own opinion (be warned there is a lot of bad language), but we know the two guys who were communicating back and forth are McNally and John Jastremski. Depending on your stance, these messages are seen as either serious or sarcastic. Either way, the disdain towards the Patriots’ quarterback is real.
Also, apparently Jim McNally only requires multiple size 11 “kicks” to risk his job and reputation.

McNally’s hostility surpasses that of his partner. He so deeply loathes Tom, that thirty-one cities would elect him mayor today. While Jastremski isn’t a big fan, his messages are toned down by comparison. In fact during one exchange, John Jastremski calls McNally a “spaz” for spewing so much hatred.
The part I don’t get is why they’re being so open through easily attained text messages. I mean jeez, we covered this kind of stuff yesterday with the Seahawks.
What can we now expect for Tom, and “Laurel & Hardy” as punishment from the NFL? For Brady it needs to be tough. Roger Goodell has an opportunity to stand up for the “shield’s” integrity. I’d like to see a fine of $500,000.00 and a suspension covering four games, including the Patriots’ celebratory opener. $500,000.00 for his stupidity, and four games for lying about what took place.
For the equipment fellas, not much. I worry about their job security but Tom’s the big fish. He needs the hammer thrown down on him.
Keep in mind everyone, the Patriots’ organization could have two openings in their equipment division.
The pay isn’t great, but if Tom needs your “secret help”, you will get new shoes!
GO Hawks!
