Why The Seahawks Will Win Super Bowl 50

Last year when the schedule was released I cringed. That starting stretch, the way-too-early bye, that finishing stretch!!! And then they went 12-4 and appeared in their second straight Super Bowl.
There is a lot to like about this schedule. Sure we start with two straight road games, but getting the Rams early as opposed to later like usual gives us an edge, and Week #2 at Green Bay is a SNF game, and you know how well we perform in prime time. Even if we split those first two games we will be in good shape.
The schedule is balanced, with no clear “Murderer’s Row” type of stretch, but it also features a span of 5 out of 7 weeks in the 2nd half where we are at home.
And that bye…… right smack in the middle during Week 9. Perfect way to recover, rest, and focus for the finishing drive.
