THE BIGGER NAMES:
Mike Glennon – Tampa Bay Buccaneers
May be available at some point after the team took Jameis Winston with the draft’s first pick, but probably not until later in camp. Also doesn’t appear to be a fit for the way Seattle likes to play on offense.
E.J. Manuel – Buffalo Bills
Keith wrote up a longer article on Manuel, but he still warrants inclusion here. Incredible physical talent who’s football IQ and commitment to the game has been questioned since the Bills spent a 1st round pick on him 2 years ago. There have been reports recently that the Bills could cut or trade him if he has a poor camp. I find it hard to believe they would give up on him so quickly, but even if they did I’m not sure he fits the Seahawks profile.
Zach Mettenberger – Tennessee Titans
Reportedly demanded a trade after the Titans took Marcus Mariota with the 2nd pick last month, but has softened his stance since. Big arm, but has the air of a wildcard personality, and didn’t play particularly well when given his chance as a rookie last year. Doesn’t fit current Hawks offense.
