That would be second round pick, Frank Clark (#63) and third round pick Tyler Lockett (#69). We know what they will make in their rookie year, we just don’t know what their base salaries will be years 2-4, or what there signing bonuses will be.
Every rookie this year drafted in rounds 4-7 will have the same base salaries through there four years. Year 1-$435,000, year 2-$525,000, year 3-$615,000, and year 4-$705,000. Clark and Lockett’s first year salaries will also be $435,000, but years 2-4 should be a little bit higher than the players drafted in rounds 4-7.
Here is a prediction for Frank Clark’s salary structure with a signing bonus of $970,584:
[table id=61 /]
In all he signs a 4 year $3,727,043 contract with $970,584 guaranteed. His guaranteed money could be a sticking point in negotiations. Some picks around #63 are getting there signing bonus and the first two years guaranteed but with Clark’s history the Seahawks might not want to guarantee that much. If they compromise we could see a first year guarantee which would add $435,000 making it $1,405,584
Next: Tyler Lockett
