2. Bruce Irvin – OLB

Bruce Irvin was selected by the Seahawks in the first round of the 2012 draft out of West Virginia. Irvin has always been a superior athlete, but he has yet to put it all together in Seattle. I believe that will change in a big way this season.

The 27-year-old outside linebacker appeared in 15 games last season, making 13 starts for the ‘Hawks. Irvin finished with 37 tackles (24 solo), 6.5 sacks and 1 forced fumble. He also picked off a pair of passes, and scored 2 touchdowns. His sack total fell short of his career high of 8, but 2014 was his best all-around season as a professional.

Irvin was dominant in the postseason, posting 6 tackles and registering 2 sacks. The highlight had to be his sack of Tom Brady in the Super Bowl. He carried his playoff performance over into the 2015 preseason. Irvin had 3 tackles and 1 sack this summer.
