Stock Down – Darrell Bevell

The Seahawks’ offensive co-ordinator had yet another rough week calling plays. Seattle amassed 324 total yards of offense. That number is not awful, but for the second consecutive game, Darrell Bevell did a poor job of utilizing his offensive weapons.

Jimmy Graham caught 1 ball and accumulated 11 yards. Even more shocking, the superstar tight end was targeted just twice. Graham is reportedly unhappy about his role in the Seahawks’ offense, and who can blame him. He is a monster, and Seattle needs to get him more involved moving forward.

Marshawn Lynch‘s mom was very unhappy with Bevell last week, and I doubt her opinion of him has improved much. Beastmode carried the rock 15 times for 41 yards in Green Bay. Lynch also reeled in 3 passes for 21 yards. The Seahawks are constantly facing stacked boxes, but they are at their best when Lynch gets at least 20 touches.

Jermaine Kearse was the Seahawks’ leading receiver in week 1, but he disappeared this week. It appeared Bevell had no interest in getting the University of Washington alum involved. Kearse is a big play threat, and they need to take shots down the field to him in order to help open up the running game.
