4. Jimmy Graham should be happy now

Following last weeks 2 target, 1 catch game in Green Bay, the reports were that Jimmy Graham was pissed. Given how many times he was open and didn’t the ball, he probably should have been.

That won’t be the case this week. Graham had 7 catches for 83 yards and a touchdown. All of those stats were tops for Seattle pass-catchers.

Graham was an obvious focus of the play calling last week. He was also an obvious focus this week. The difference was that Russell Wilson threw the ball and trusted him to come down with it.

There were multiple times when Graham was covered, but Wilson threw the ball anyways. Graham rewarded Wilson for his trust. Hopefully this means we’ll see more Graham receptions next week as well.
