As much as the Seahawks will try to control the clock against the Lions, they would be foolish to avoid putting the ball in the air as well. The Lions have been horrid against the pass this year. Here are the numbers. If you’re a Lions fan who just happens to be checking out our site….. you may want to look away:
- Completion percentage allowed: 78.1% (31st in the league)
- Passing yards allowed per game: 283.7 (26th)
- Pass plays of over 20 yards allowed: 12 (Tied for 30th)
- Passer rating allowed: 107.1 (28th)
In addition to that, Wilson should have time to throw, and this could be a good game for the offensive line to continue to gel. The Lions only have 4 sacks through 3 games.
