2. The defense ruined Jimmy Graham’s coming out party
The Seahawks finally got Jimmy Graham involved in the offense the way everyone expected from the beginning. What made it so incredible was that there was nothing gimmicky about how it was done.
There were no little 3 yard out routes. No play-action rollout with Graham in the flat. The Seahawks stopped trying to design ways to get Graham the ball and just let him beat defenders the way he always has.
Wilson hit Graham twice for big plays down the seam. He hit him again for a 45-yard gain down the sideline. Wilson threw the ball Graham’s way early and often.
Graham finished with eight catches for 140 yards. It was easily his best game as a Seahawk. It is too bad that Seattle’s defense imploded and the team wasn’t able to secure the win.
