3. All the hits have gotten to Russell Wilson
Wilson will never say it. In fact, he’d probably completely deny it. There’s no doubt though, all the hits and pressure have gotten to Russell Wilson.
When Wilson was at his best, he’d keep his eyes down field , even when running for his life. Instead, he’s now watching the pass rush far too much. He eye level is dropping and he isn’t able to see where the open receivers are.
It is tough to blame Wilson for that. His pass blocking has been atrocious. He’s still on pace to suffer the second-most sacks in NFL history despite playing on a team than runs the ball a lot.
The Seahawks have to get the pass blocking fixed. They’re on the verge of ruining Wilson as an NFL QB.
