Stock Up: Jimmy Graham

For the first time since joining Seattle this past offseason, Jimmy Graham was Jimmy Graham on Sunday. The superstar tight end eclipsed the 100-yard mark for the first time as a Seahawk, finishing with 140. Graham’s 8 receptions represent a season high, as do his 12 targets.

Russell Wilson looked to the University of Miami alum early and often, which proved to be a great idea. Graham hauled in a key 45-yard grab in the 4th quarter that was the result of a broken play. Wilson scrambled around before hitting Graham in stride deep down the sideline for a massive gain.

Darrell Bevel did a poor job integrating Graham into the Hawks’ offense during the first 5 games of the season, but he seemed to tailor the game plan to Graham’s rare skill set against the Panthers. We saw more two tight end sets this week, and hopefully that continues on Thursday against the San Francisco 49ers.
