Seahawks vs Cowboys; 3 things we need to see
By Dan Viens
1. GET BACK TO DOING THAT GOOD JIMMY GRAHAM THING
Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll talked openly this week about emphasizing tempo in the passing game. Translation: “We are terrible in pass protection (see Things We Need To See #3 above) so we need to get the ball out quicker and focus on short passes. I mean we’ve said that before but we REALLY, REALLY need to now because…. have we mentioned that our pass protection is terrible? Did I say terrible? I mean horrible, horrific, terrifying, and all the other Halloween-themed words you can think of to describe our pitiful offensive line.”
So, that should put Graham front and center as a primary target. Wilson seemed to find that trust with his big TE that we had all been hoping for when he broke out with 8 catches for 140 yards against Carolina two weeks ago, but was largely ignored against the 49ers a week ago. Getting Graham involved early and often would bode well for the Seahawks.
A win in Dallas to get Seattle back to .500 going into the bye week is crucial. Hitting on all three of these keys against the Cowboys tomorrow could save their season.
