I stared the enemy in the eyes, and I liked it.
Hopefully you will too.

Once again I was invited to join DJ Smith and Matt Rewinski of FanSided’s New England Patriot website chowderandchampions.com to chat it up on their podcast. These guys are big time sports fans, excellent writers, and a ton of fun to talk with, as our 1:33 run time attests to.
We covered a ton of topics:
- Our mid-season NFL report; We compared and contrasted the Seahawks and Patriots seasons to date (slight difference!), our most surprising and disappointing teams, and spent quite a bit of time previewing tonight’s game against the Cardinals.
- The MLB General Manager meetings, where there were rumblings of a possible trade match between the Mariners and Red Sox.
- The Greg Hardy victim photos and their possible impact on the league and the Dallas Cowboys.
- And, of course, the guys thought it would be fun to discuss Godsmack’s impromptu Seahawk slam song they performed at a concert in Yakima last week.

I love talking to these guys because they’re true sports fans. Obviously they love their Pats, but they both agree that the Seahawks are much better than their record, and they’re confident in the Hawks ability to make a serious second half run to set up a possible Super Bowl rematch with the Pats in Santa Clara come February.
