Seahawks injury report: Seahawks thin on defensive line

The Seahawks injury report says they will be without a pair of backup defensive linemen as they try and stop Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson.

The Seattle Seahawks are on the road this week to take on the Minnesota Vikings. It’ll be a tough game for the Seahawks, who are already without Marshawn Lynch and Jimmy Graham.

Now they’ll be without three other players. That include a pair of defensive linemen as they try and slow down Minnesota’s Adrian Peterson.

Seahawks injury report for Week 13

Out: Marshawn Lynch, Paul Richardson, Demarcus Dobbs, Jordan Hill

Doubtful: Marcus Burley, Will Tukuafu

Probable: Patrick Lewis, Earl Thomas, Jeremy Lane, Michael Bennett (NIR)

Not having Paul Richardson is a disappointment. Pete Carroll said earlier this week that the team was hoping Richardson would play this week. Having another weapon to help in the passing game with Graham out for the year would have been nice.

Losing Demarcus Hobbs and Jordan Hill for this week is a much bigger deal though. The focus on defense will be to stop Adrian Peterson. The team will want to rotate their defensive linemen often to keep them fresh.

Luckily, the Seahawks added A.J. Francis to the roster this week. He’s a big run stuffer, and should see considerable playing time.

The issue with FB Will Tukuafu is a concussion. He’s still working his way through the protocol. There is a chance he’ll be cleared before the game, but he hasn’t been cleared at this point.

Everyone else is expected to play. This includes Marcus Burley who injured his ankle last week.

Vikings Injury Update

Out: Linval Joseph, Andes Sendejo

Questionable: Anthony Barr, Harrison Smith

Probable: Robert Blanton, Trae Waynes

Minnesota will be without two defensive starters. The biggest loss of the two is Lineal Joseph. Joseph is their big nose tackle, and the anchor of their run defense.

With Joseph already out, it will be a major problem is Barr ends up being out as well. That would be the two biggest pieces of their from seven both out.

Thomas Rawls could be in for a very big game for the Seahawks
