Fisch was Carroll’s QB coach in Seattle his first year as head coach in 2010. He left for the University of Florida for two years before joining former Seahawks DC Gus Bradley in Jacksonville. The Jaguars offense ranked near the bottom of the league in points and yards but can any OC really be judged fairly for “coordinating” Blaine Gabbert, Chad Henne and Blake Borltes as a rookie?
Fisch is currently serving as Jim Harbaugh’s QB/WR coach and passing game coordinator at Michigan. He’s 39 years old and was once considered one of the up-and-coming young offensive coaches. Might be a long shot, and he would certainly not be the most inspiring hire, but he could get a look.
